Hamburg, Germany I saw some camels today!! I got out of the bus, and started walking to the day-room, (which is basically a hotel room booked for the day for everyone to shower in) and what did I see??? Oh yeah, I already told you. Voles!!! Very funny, the circus was in town….so, to quote Austin Powers ‘carnies, small hands, smell like wee' Well I can't comment on that, as I was transfixed by the monstrosity that is the Camel!! How many more times can I say camel in this paragraph???? Camel, camel, camel, camel. Oh dear, after having a shower, and still feeling pretty hung-over, the only thing we could find to eat was a kebab……it was just sat there on the pavement, so we dug in!! No, it was a lovely little kebab shop, which did fantastic chicken doner meat!! It was very, very hot today, and the tour bus was almost unbearable. On walking around the vicinity, we also discovered that we were in the equivalent of Amsterdams red-light district……..there were adult stores everywhere, quite amusing! The venue was another very intimate one, and there really wasn't many people there to see our set, but, in keeping with all the other European dates, the small crowd were very attentive, and very welcoming. Adam.
