Saturday 5th March, Nottingham - Rescue Rooms Today was quite bizarre. After spending our day off in London yesterday, we were picked up at 9.00am for our journey to Nottingham. Within minutes of getting on the bus there was an amazing 'party' atmosphere. EVERYONE decided they were still tired and went to bed, leaving myself and Ben (lighting guy) watching Welsh comedy fun. On our arrival it was good to bypass the Stealth club and set up in the larger Rescue Rooms, it felt good to progress to a bigger venue. After a completely normal soundcheck we were fed extremely well by the venue... pretty much massive burgers all round, making us feel pleasantly stuffed. Thankfully there was enough time for our food to go down before we played. Having indigestion on stage isn't good as a performer, although as a member of the audience it must be great fun trying to guess what's going on! All went well on stage! I can't explain the feeling of playing to a sellout crowd who are there just for you....it feels fantastic!! It's interesting how different audiences react to some songs more than others. The crowds favourite tonight appeared to be "Picture This" - which is also becoming one of our favourites to play. Gotta thank everyone there for cheering us back to finish on "Thru the Glass". A good night all round - Thanks Nottingham Adam www.lewisslade.com/thirteensenses
