Monday 28th February, Sheffield - Leadmill Wowee! The long awaited tour finally begins! We have all been feeling like lost causes at home, not knowing what to do with ourselves, outside of our bubble that is the tour bus. Today was a day of mixed emotions. It was a combination of sheer excitement and huge nerves. It's our first major headline tour; we've got a longer set and more crew (Julien - monitors, and Ben - lights), so there was a lot to take in. After a hectic afternoon of sorting through all the logistics of our show (ie setting up lights and equipment) we enter the stage feeling a little apprehensive. Our nerves were soon calmed though by a really receptive warmed up crowd, who had piled in to show their support. A big thanks to Pollen & Alterkicks for putting on great shows. We gradually hammered through our set, supported by the crowd the whole time (even when Will had to start a song three times) and came to our conclusion still feeling quite anxious as to how we had done. Yet again though, big thanks to a great crowd for reassuring us that all was well. we left Sheffield happy, and ready for our pyjamas, cocoa, story, and finally bed!
