Gene fundamentally were a band of relationships and sadly the weaknesses 
of these relationships became more exposed over time. 

When compromise becomes too great bonds snap and people loose interest. 
The cause of these stresses to some extent was the sense of frustration 
that record releases would continue to foster. 

Smith's comparisons and under achieving are two frustration's that did 
question one's dirve and desire. Collectively those latter components 
began to diminish to the point of no return. 
No harsh words, no animosity just a sad realisation that the fight within 
the group had died..
